Key Responsibilities Assist the Management of day-to-day operations of our Barramundi Raceway production system. Report to, and collaborate with the Growout Manager to meet production goals. Provide strong leadership to your team, which includes a Supervisor, leading hands, senior technicians and farm hands. Complete and oversee activities such as fish harvesting, feeding, and disease management. Manage our automated smart farm systems for oxygen injection, automated feeding and automated water supply. Collect farm data to enhance production methods and foster innovation. Cultivate a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with operational standards. Organizing workflow and planning for your team. Purchasing and ordering supplies as needed. Support and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance culture. Fulfill after hours, on-call duties as required on a shared rostered basis (approximately 1 week per 3 weeks). Required Skills & Experience Relevant qualifications or experience in Aquaculture Management. Knowledge of farming practices and experience in a similar role. Proven track record of leading small teams in a safety-first environment. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail. Strong coaching capabilities to empower staff and foster teamwork. Proficiency in farm management software, data entry and strong computer literacy. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
