Working in a full-time capacity, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored behaviour support plans that promote positive outcomes and enhance quality of life.What you''ll be doingConducting comprehensive assessments to identify the functional behaviours and support needs of clientsDeveloping and implementing evidence-based behaviour support plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and the broader care teamProviding specialist behaviour support interventions and strategies to address complex behaviours and promote positive outcomesDelivering training and support to clients, families, and support workers to ensure the effective implementation of behaviour support plansMonitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of behaviour support plans, making adjustments as neededMaintaining detailed clinical records and contributing to the continuous improvement of behaviour support servicesParticipating in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborating with other healthcare professionalsWhat we''re looking forA tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, or a related allied health disciplineDemonstrated or emerging experience in the provision of behaviour support services, preferably within the disability or mental health sectorsA thorough understanding of positive behaviour support principles and the ability to apply them in practiceStrong clinical assessment and case formulation skills, with the ability to develop and implement tailored behaviour support plansEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with clients, families, and multi-disciplinary teamsA commitment to continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in behaviour supportWhat we offerAlliance Rehabilitation is expanding and were seeking dedicated clinicians to join us.
