PLEASE NOTE: ONLY applicants who live within 50km of Bendigo and who have full working rights in Australia will be considered.A cover letter / note must be provided along with your resume introducing yourself and responding to how your skills can contribute to the key responsibilities & skills mentioned below.About usWe are a family owned and operated Steel and Aluminium fencing manufacturer Based In Bendigo Victoria, who has built their reputation on high quality product and first-class customer service.With recognition from the Bendigo business community, we continually adapt and improve to meet our customers'' changing needs.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Bendigo, VIC.The MR Driver will be responsible for delivering our fencing products safely & efficiently whilst building and maintaining positive relations with our customers and their representatives.Key day-to-day tasks include operating a medium rigid truck on both regional and metropolitan roads, loading / unloading (by hand and / or forklift), providing exceptional customer service and pick up of materials from suppliers when needed.The role will involve vehicle maintenance and cleanliness as well as assisting our Manufacturing and Dispatch teams on site when time allows.HoursMonday - Thursday 7.15am - 4.30pmFriday 7.15am - 12 noonVehicle TypeModern Automatic Hino Flat Bed single axle truck (8 mtrs long), with or without a 6 mtr flat bed trailer.ReachTravelling around Central Victoria, Southern NSW & metropolitan Melbourne.About youYou will have a good level of Physical fitness and Strength as there will be times where you will need to hand unload on site.You will have a positive, team oriented attitude and mindset with a willingness to adapt to changing demands when required.You will have well presented and have strong communication and customer service skills.You will have the ability to work independently, confidently follow laid out delivery runs and adapt to changing traffic conditions and adjustments to runs when requested.You will have mechanical knowledge / understanding of how the vehicle works and how to perform basic maintenance.You will have committed to upholding our safety standards & following road rules.You will have a history of reliability that can be substantiated by 2 relevant references.Company BenefitsUniforms SuppliedWeekly Pay CycleInhouse training providedThe successful candidate may be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including Drug & Alcohol screening and agree to a National Criminal History Check.Australian work authorisation is required for this position.QualificationsA forklift licence is required to commence this position.5+ years of work experience with Truck Driving.Be willing to supply an up to date Driver History report from Vicroads.Previous experience in a similar role or within the manufacturing industry is a plus.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
