Asher Enterprises Pty Ltd Caboolture QLDAsher''s Logging and Transport is seeking a qualified Truck Mechanic to join our team in the Moreton Bay region. Applicants with experience in log trucks and trailers will be highly regarded.About the roleThis position will be based out of our purpose built workshop at Caboolture.You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing our fleet of trucks which consist of Kenworth, Volvo and Mack prime movers and Elphinstone and Kennedy trailers, as well as fleet utilities from time to time.Asher''s maintains a large fully functional workshop in Caboolture, with undercover bays for working on trucks and trailers out of the weather.Asher''s operates on behalf of HQPlantations, which manages sustainable pine forests projected to last the next eighty-five years, providing secure and stable employment.Duties include:Mechanical, Hydraulic and electrical fault findingRoutine servicing and preventive maintenanceEnsuring safety, compliance and quality standards are met.Maintaining accurate service records and job sheets.What we are looking for:Experience with heavy diesel engines, hydraulics and diagnosticsExperience in log trucks and trailers preferredAbility to work independently as well as part of a team in a workshop environmentStrong commitment to safety and producing high quality work.Why Join AshersCompetitive hourly rateStability with Long established family owned company with low staff turn overModern, well maintained fleet and equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr
