Join us for our Crocodile Cruise Adventure Day designed to empower young people through teamwork, challenge, and connection. This is volunteering with purpose (and a whole lot of fun!). About the Activity This nature-based program blends adventure, skill-building, and mental health education to help young people from Defence families grow in confidence, communication, and resilience. Activities Cruise the lagoon and see crocodiles in their natural habitat Experience the thrilling Snake Show Meet koalas and other Aussie animals Take part in mental health and wellbeing education Build courage, confidence, and connection in a supportive space All supported by Croc Cruise staff and Kookaburra Kids Program Staff with create a safe, encouraging environment. About Kookaburra Kids The Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation supports young people aged 818 who are living in families impacted by mental illness. We deliver evidence-based, ageappropriate mental health education through Camps, Activity Days, and online Connect Sessions all designed by mental health professionals. Our programs create a safe, social, and fun space where young people can build confidence, learn helpful skills, connect with peers, and feel less alone. Founded in 2002, we started with one camp and 16 kids. Today, more than 2,000 young people across Australia take part in Kookaburra Kids programs each year and volunteers like you make that possible.
