About the role This role is part of our maintenance team and works in the avocado and mango packing shed. If you enjoy working with production machinery in a manufacturing environment, and you have a good level of mechanical aptitude, this role may be of interest. Below is a list of duties. Duties include but not limited to Maintain packing plant and cardboard box making equipment. Breakdown Maintenance. Detect problems by performing basic diagnostic testing on equipment. Test malfunctioning machinery and plant to determine whether major repairs are needed and make recommendations as necessary. Manage and adhere to the programmed maintenance schedule. Record all maintenance activities. Ability to work extended hours through seasonal periods. Be constantly considering WHS measures and reporting any hazards. Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience Previous maintenance experience. Experience diagnosing faults and resolving/recommending solutions. Fitter trade qualification or experience. Experience using a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System). Drivers Licence. Food industry experience. What You Should Know About Our Operations Our business is widespread, growing walnuts, almonds in the Riverina Region in New South Wales, pecans in Moree and macadamias, avocados and mangoes in Bundaberg, Queensland. In addition to fruit growing and nut growing, we also operate apiaries located in Temora, Nowra and Dubbo. Off the paddock, we operate nut processing and packing facilities in Leeton, Toowoomba and Bundaberg as well as fruit packing and processing in Bundaberg. In addition, our shared services teams (Finance, Sales, ESG, Safety and People & Culture) are located across all of our sites as well as the Brisbane, Melbourne and Griffith offices.
