About the Role The Senior ML Engineer is a key role within Data Platforms responsible for delivering innovative and sustainable datadriven solutions contributing to Sportsbet having a competitive advantage in the Machine Learning domain within the quant space. This is an exciting opportunity to support our industryleading Data Science team delivering cuttingedge customerfacing models into production and optimising their performance along with contributing key capabilities back into our international Flutter brands for wider use. Your day could see you doing : Build feature pipelines, model inference services and monitoring tools. Design and implement CI / CD pipelines with automated testing. Standardise ML delivery patterns and best practices across teams. Lead delivery estimation and ensure accountability for outcomes. Identify and close gaps across DevOps, security and operations. Optimise ML systems for performance, reliability and cost. Own what you build, monitor, troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Drive automation and continuous improvement across ML workflows. Share expertise and promote innovation. About You Proficiency in developing software models in Rust / Python / C family leveraging submodel architectures to build modularised application in a solver / simulationbased application. Strong expertise in designing lowlatency application backed with demonstrable knowledge of concurrency, parallelisation, performance tuning while enforcing memory safety. Strong experience leading the SDLC for Machine Learning and Data Science models, building ML pipelines, feature stores and containerisation utilising Docker / Kubernetes. Proven experience in designing training and validating machine learning models for realtime prediction tasks (e.g. regression, classification, timeseries, anomaly detection). Wellversed in model experimentation and evaluation techniques (e.g. A / B testing, backtesting, crossvalidation, error analysis). Familiarity with data models such as Data Vault, Kimball and Medallion architecture (ideal but not essential).
