We are seeking a consultant psychiatrist to join our growing practice. The role focuses on comprehensive psychiatric assessments (Item 291) and/or ongoing care (Item 296). Consultations are primarily delivered via telehealth, providing flexibility and the ability to work from anywhere in Australia. For those who prefer inperson work, our consulting rooms in Camberwell, Victoria are available, and facetoface assessments can be offered as desired. About us Yarra Clinic is a private psychology and psychiatry practice with a strong local presence in Melbourne. Our team of clinical psychologists and consultant psychiatrists provide psychotherapy and assessment services. The role This position is ideal for a psychiatrist who values personcentred care, and wants to work in a supportive, multidisciplinary team. You will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and/or provide ongoing care, with flexibility to work via telehealth, inperson, or a combination. The balance between assessment and ongoing care can be tailored to your interests and availability. Key responsibilities Conduct detailed psychiatric assessments and prepare clear, collaborative reports. Provide ongoing care, including medication review. Coordinate care with referring GPs and psychologists. Participate in team case discussions, as desired. What we offer An established referral network capable of supporting fulltime work, if desired.
