An exciting opportunity for an experienced chief officer has become available on our premium private motor yacht. This is a 3 month contract and the successful candidate will assist in delivering the vessel on a voyage to the Mediterranean. YACHT INFORMATION A 58m motor yacht is currently searching for a Chief Officer to join their crew. Preferably, the Chief Officer will have 2-3 years experience on a similar size yacht. The primary function of this role will be to prepare and deliver the vessel to the Mediterranean. The ability to work and lead unsupervised at all times. Must have an exceptional eye for detail and be highly organized. Be fit healthy and presentable at all times. The Chief Officer has to be a hands on person and like to get in there with the deck crew. RESPONSIBILITIES The safety of the yacht, including all Class, Flag, ISM, ISPS and MLC compliance requirements whilst overseeing all deck operations, including maintenance, supervision and preparation of guests equipment on board. Assistance with overseeing any shipyard periods. Undertake bridge watches while at sea and navigational duties. ITINERARY The vessel is currently located on the Gold Coast and will undertake a trip to the Mediterranean in January.
