The Role As a Senior Customer Data Architect, you''ll provide architectural authority across Customer Identity, Customer Data Platforms, Analytics, and AI/ML. You''ll work closely with senior business, technology, risk, and privacy stakeholders to translate growth, retention, and compliance goals into scalable data and AI solutions. This is not a delivery-only role. You''ll define future-state architecture, guide major transformation programs, and set the standards and patterns that others build against. What You''ll Be Doing Owning architecture and design decisions across the customer data domain Designing end-to-end customer data and AI solutions spanning identity, consent, analytics, activation, and decisioning Defining future-state customer data architecture, including target and transition states Establishing patterns for: Customer profiles, events, and preferences Identity resolution and ID stitching (deterministic & probabilistic) Real-time data, streaming, and decisioning AI-driven personalisation and insights Translating stakeholder objectives into clear solution options, with explicit value, cost, and risk trade-offs Embedding privacy-by-design, consent management, and PII controls aligned to Australian Privacy Principles Shaping the customer AI reference architecture, including predictive models, decisioning, and responsible AI guardrails Providing architectural governance and technical leadership across permanent teams and delivery partners What I''m Looking For You''re a senior architect who has operated at enterprise scale and understands customer data as a strategic asset, not just a technical implementation.
