Were seeking an experienced Development Technologist to join our dynamic and collaborative R&D team in Arndell Park. Reporting to the NPD team Lead, you will play a key role in driving the creation of new meat products from concept to commercialisation.This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where youll lead production trials, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure packaging complies with industry standards.No two days are the same as you explore the latest trends and innovations in the food industry!Key Responsibilities include:Oversee the end-to-end product development process, using our stage gate model (concept, development, and commercialisation).Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaborationPlan and lead R&D production trials, analysing and interpreting results to guide product improvementsWork with external marketing and trend experts to identify emerging food trends and incorporate them into product developmentPartner with ingredient and packaging suppliers to source the best solutions for new productsPrepare and submit comprehensive documentation for customer sample submissionsContribute to process design layouts for new products as part of a multi-functional teamManage R&D systems, ensuring data and information accuracy and completenessDevelop new products that align with both internal and external commercial requirementsAbout UsEstablished in 1969, BE Campbell has grown to be one of Australia''s largest family-owned meat operation, supplying supermarkets, restaurants, retail butchers, small-goods producers, and export channels.Driven by our purpose of Enriching lives through wholesome food, we are committed to creating innovative products for our customers whilst also having a positive impact on our community and environment.Our leading-edge manufacturing processes and dedicated team produce high quality food products across a range of fresh categories and sales channels.Employing over 600 staff across two processing sites in Western Sydney, we pride ourselves on an inclusive culture based on family values.About YouWere looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for food innovation and product development.
