About the Opportunity As our new Senior Project Manager within the SSN AUKUS Build Preparedness Integrated Project Team (IPT), you will lead critical crossfunctional projects that lay the foundation for the submarine build phase. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a highprofile national defence program, working with domestic and international stakeholders to ensure readiness, alignment, and successful delivery. Responsibilities Lead and manage crossfunctional build preparation projects across the SSN AUKUS Build Program. Develop and maintain project schedules, risk registers, and reporting dashboards to support decisionmaking. Coordinate with IPT leads, delivery partners, and government stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment. Identify and manage programlevel risks, issues, and interdependencies. Prepare highquality reports, leadership briefings, and documentation for governance and readiness reviews. Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and sharing lessons learned. Mentor and support junior project managers and coordinators within the IPT. About you Hold tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years experience managing complex, multistakeholder projects. Strong knowledge of project delivery methodologies, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. Proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams and influence outcomes in a matrixed environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and reporting skills. Desirable: Experience in defence, infrastructure, or largescale government programs, and familiarity with ASC, BAE Systems, or Defence governance frameworks. This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
