Matthews Hospitality proudly operating 10 popular pubs and venues across the state since 1942 is seeking a dynamic and strategic Group IT Manager to join our executive team and drive the digital heartbeat of our business. About the Role As Group IT Manager , youll take charge of the technology that powers our venues, ensuring thousands of customers enjoy seamless experiences every single day. Youll oversee all aspects of our IT infrastructure and systems, manage vendor relationships for business-critical platforms, and play a key role in shaping our long-term technology vision. This is not a behind-the-desk role. Its handson, varied, and strategically vital. Youll collaborate with venue managers, support teams, and senior executives, providing leadership and expertise across operations, innovation, and project delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage IT operations across ten venues to ensure consistent, reliable performance and security. Management and maintenance of server and network infrastructure, including external outsourced vendor helpdesk support Oversee vendor relationships and contracts for core business systems including POS, finance, HR, marketing, operations and communications. Develop and execute a longterm IT and digital transformation roadmap aligned with Matthews Hospitalitys growth strategy. Provide executivelevel insight and reporting to the CEO and leadership team. Drive innovation through emerging hospitality technologies that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. Travel intrastate and interstate as required to support venues and projects. About You Youre an adaptable, forwardthinking IT leader who thrives in a fastpaced, peoplefocused environment. Youre as comfortable talking strategy in the boardroom as you are troubleshooting systems onsite. Youll bring : Proven experience leading IT infrastructure and systems across multiple sites. Strong vendor management and negotiation skills. A customerfirst mindset with a passion for hospitality and technology. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
