With multiple mining engineer roles in QLD''s Bowen Basin & NSW''s Hunter Valley on offer and huge demand for our team, we are looking for experienced Drill and Blast Engineers & Mid Term Planning Engineers, to assist our Tier 1 mining Clients, with FIFO, DIDO or Residential all being options. The Roles We are looking for a Drill and Blast engineer on an 8/6 roster (FIFO, DIDO or Residential Southern Bowen Basin), starting mid Jan. We are looking for top performing D&B engineers who are comfortable amongst complex geology and lots of bespoke blasting. We are looking for multiple Medium/Long term planning engineers, comfortable with dig and dump designs, reserving and mining strategy/sequencing. Dragline expertise is a bonus. A MonFri, 2 days a week flexi, Brisbane office based role. A MonThu, Bowen Basin site based role, FIFO available. A 9 day fortnight Hunter Valley site based role. standard dig and dump design, sections, reserving etc. To be considered you must meet the following criteria A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or similar. You have previous practical experience in open cut coal mining. Located in Brisbane or Sydney or else residential Bowen Basin or Hunter Valley. Current Australian drivers licence. Have exceptional and professional communication skills to engage and influence other personnel within the business, along with relevant technical expertise. Have excellent time management and task prioritisation skills. Have an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
