Were looking for an Industrial Relations Business Partner (IR/ER Business Partner) to join our team as the go-to expert in IR and ER. In this role, youll collaborate closely with our talented HR Business Partners and Advisors, shaping strategy and playing a key role in complex enterprise agreement negotiations. Youll have a genuine seat at the table, influencing decisions that matter. Your Opportunity Working in partnership with HR Business Partners and key leaders, the scope of your role will include responsibilities such as: Lead and/or support end to end negotiations for more complex EAs, working with HR Business Partners to develop strategic mandates. As the subject matter expert, have strategic and risk-based oversight on operational Employee Relations/Industrial Relations, providing more in-depth advice and support to HR Business Partners on complex ER matters. Conduct formal investigations in response to workplace misconduct and/or grievances. Stay up to date, interpret and provide specialist advice in relation to industrial agreements, conditions and legislation. Lead specific IR and ER projects. Build the IR/ER capability of the P&C team and line leaders. Build strong and effective working relationships with relevant Union stakeholders and reps. Provide expert advice to leaders on employment risks, policies and procedures, facilitating informed decision-making for both executive and management levels of the business. Represent Cement Australia in conciliations and disputes at the Fair Work Commission and other relevant forums. Draft, develop and review policies and procedures. What Youll Bring Solid experience in an industrial and employment relations advisory role, ideally in industries relevant to Cement Australia. Bachelor''s degree in business, law, IR, HR, or a related discipline preferred. Demonstrated success negotiating and implementing industrial agreements. Highly developed communication, influencing and collaboration skills. Contemporary knowledge on relevant industry standards and P&C best practice trends. The ability (and desire!) to mentor and coach both P&C team members and business leaders. Welldeveloped forward planning, analytical and strategic thinking skills. Ability to deal effectively with stakeholders at all levels in the business with exemplary interpersonal skills. Ability and willingness to travel as required, with frequency varied based on business needs. Why Join Cement Australia?
