Company: Keegan GroupLocation: Darwin NT with occasional regional project workSalary Range: $75,000 $85,000 + superannuation (depending on experience)Employment Type: Full-time permanent About the Role Keegan Group is seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Controller / Lead Traffic Controller to coordinate traffic control teams and oversee safe operations at roadwork and construction sites across the NT. This role offers the chance to lead crew members, maintain site safety, and ensure compliance with approved Traffic Management Plans and company standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor traffic control teams on active sites. Set up, monitor, and remove traffic control devices (cones, signs, barriers). Develop and implement TMPs based on job requirements and local regulations. Ensure site safety and compliance with NT WorkSafe and Austroads requirements. Conduct risk assessments and pre-start checks and complete reports and incident documentation accurately. Communicate with clients, site supervisors, and team members. Support training and upskilling of junior controllers. Skills and Attributes Strong leadership and team coordination skills. Excellent understanding of Traffic Guidance Schemes and worksite safety protocols. Effective communication and problem-solving ability. Reliable and proactive attitude under pressure. Qualifications and Experience NT Traffic Management Tickets Construction White Card. Current Driver Licence. Minimum 12 years experience in traffic control, including team leadership.
