Location & Working Conditions Based in Kingston on the lands of the Ngunnawal & Ngambri Peoples. Community outreach and hybrid working conditions. Fulltime maxterm until March 2027. No billable hours. Overview Make a real difference in childrens lives by delivering our Early Supports Program through familycentred, strengthsbased, evidenceinformed best practices in early intervention. Your role, your impact Looking for a rewarding career in early childhood intervention? We need an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our diverse team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education staff. In this role you will: Deliver supports in partnership with families to help them achieve their goals using evidenceinformed best practice. Use assessments, observations and your understanding of child development to tailor support options that fit each child and family. Empower families, caregivers and professionals, helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives using your coaching skills. Connect children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose. Keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress and goals in the NDIA business system. Guide families through the application, implementation and funding processes of NDIS plans. Who were looking for A bachelors degree qualification in Early Childhood/Education. Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues. A proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including implementation of effective strategies for home practice. Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention bestpractice principles.
