ABOUT THE POSITIONAs our existing Allied Health team continues to do amazing work, our referral base keeps quickly growing, creating opportunities to expand our allied health team. The successful candidate will be given an opportunity to participate in improving other peoples lives by delivering high-quality personcentred services working with a range of clients across a range of care needs from shortterm involvement to complex longterm needs. This will involve but is not limited to:assessing, diagnosing and managing clients who present with a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders;participation in complex multidisciplinary assessments (e.g. FASD);providing client support including clinic or homebased sessions, training and resource development;working with low and high tech ACC.The position is suitable for experienced practitioners. The successful candidate will assist in building the Speech Pathology team in Northern Territory supported by the Allied Health portfolio and the wider transdisciplinary team of practitioners.While our office base and primary work is in Darwin we also offer a range of opportunities to work regionally (e.g. Katherine, Alice Springs) and within remote Indigenous communities.
