People, Culture and Compliance Officer Adapt Care Tasmania Pty Ltd Location: Longford Employment Type: Full-Time Reporting to: People, Culture and Compliance Manager Join a values-driven NDIS provider with room to grow. adaptCARE Tasmania is expanding its team to add capacity and support to our existing leadership and administration team for 2026 and seeking a full-time People, Culture and Compliance Officer with a strong understanding of NDIS compliance and risk frameworks. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to play a key role in safeguarding quality services for people with disability while developing their own career path. Responsibilities Provides handson support across the employee lifecycle, assisting with HR administration, workforce processes, and peoplefocused initiatives. Be a friendly and professional point of contact for staff queries Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and values-aligned workplace culture Support recruitment processes including job ads, shortlisting coordination, and onboarding Assist with induction, probation tracking, and employment documentation Maintain accurate and confidential staff records Support performance review processes and documentation Assist with maintaining HR policies, procedures, and templates Support workforce compliance requirements in line with NDIS Practice Standards Help prepare documentation for audits and internal reviews Ensure records are accurate, up to date, and auditready Maintain HR systems, trackers, and registers Assist with improving workflows and administrative processes Support change initiatives as new roles and services are introduced Work collaboratively with leadership and admin teams to keep systems organised and effective Contribute to our culture of accountability, safety, and participantcentred care About You You are: Organised, approachable, and detailoriented Experienced in HR administration, office support, or People & Culture roles (or keen to build your career in this space) A clear communicator with a supportive, professional approach Interested in working in a growing organisation where systems and processes are evolving NDIS or disability sector experience is desirable but not essential we value the right attitude and willingness to learn. Key selection Criteria Minimum 2 years'' experience in a administration, HR, compliance, or auditing role (NDIS, community services or health sector preferred) Sound knowledge of the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Framework Experience with reporting in the NDIS Commission portal (or willingness to learn) Excellent written communication and attention to detail Understanding of risk management principles Ability to analyse data, interpret policy, and lead internal process reviews High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism Preferred but not mandatory qualifications (or enthusiasm to obtain) Certificate in Quality Auditing, Risk Management, Community Services, Business Administration or similar Experience with systems such as Shiftcare & NDIS audit prep tools This role reports directly to the People, Culture & Compliance Manager and offers career progression for the right candidate.
