The Role: We are seeking a Surveillance Officer to support the delivery of various and complex major projects across regional NSW. In this role, you will undertake site surveillance to ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, Quality Management Systems and client requirements. You will assist with reviewing and monitoring Traffic Management and Traffic Control Plans to ensure the safe movement of vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians. You will coordinate site activities between contractors and utility authorities, assist with contract and environmental documentation, and liaise with adjoining property owners to manage access impacts and resolve issues. This role suits someone with strong site experience, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with contractors and stakeholders. Your responsibilities may include: Undertake surveillance on a broad range of complex road and/or bridge construction projects. Ensures that all works are carried out in accordance with the Company and/or Client Quality Management System, the project specifications and any other client requirements.Assist in the assessment of Traffic Management Plans (TMP) and Traffic Control Plans (TCP) as well as checking implementation on the site to ensure the safe passage of vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians through the works.Assist in checking of contract documentation such as Plans, Specifications and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and ensures these documents are completed in a consistent and complete manner.Co-ordinate the site activity of the various contractors, public utility authorities and direct control forces to ensure and impacts or flow conflicts are minimised.Consult with adjoining property owners regularly regarding the potential impact onproperties (e.g. access constraints and conditions).The surveillance Officer will also facilitate resolutions between the contractor and property owners.
