Flinders University College of Nursing and Health Sciences We are looking for an Associate Professor Teaching Specialist (Academic) or Teaching Specialist (Clinical Practitioner) to join our senior academic team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, highquality teaching in nursing across all levels and modes, lead curriculum review and renewal, and integrate contemporary innovations into teaching practice. Base Pay Range: A$165,810 A$182,419 per annum (fulltime, continuing) About the Role The Associate Professor will provide expert teaching, contribute to topic planning and evaluation, and may serve as a Topic or Course Coordinator. Key responsibilities include: Designing and delivering innovative, industryrelevant courses. Leading curriculum review and renewal. Integrating new technologies and teaching methodologies into practice. Providing educational leadership and sharing best practice. In the Clinical Practitioner track, maintaining active clinical practice and developing industry partnerships for workintegrated learning. About You To be considered you must: Be an experienced educator, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia / AHPRA, and a member of a relevant professional association. Have a strong knowledge of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice within nursing. Demonstrate a proven record of excellence in tertiarylevel teaching and leadership experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating innovative learning initiatives. Possess strong expertise in modern teaching methodologies, including technologyenhanced learning via elearning platforms. Have excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills. Associate Professor (Academic) PhD or equivalent qualifications in nursing. Teaching Specialist (Clinical Practitioner) Doctorate or equivalent clinical experience and active clinical practice.
