Relevant post graduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing and/or Management or significant recent post-registration experience. Minimum 4 years post registration peri-op experience across scrub/scout, anaesthetics, and PACU, with demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and practice The willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of Bass Coast Health. Demonstrated excellent communication and multidisciplinary team building in the health care setting. Has demonstrated ability to develop professional relationships with medical practitioners, health professionals and others both internally and through external networks. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant acts, codes and standards that governoperative practice. A commitment to undertake nursing/midwifery and other clinical projects that are implemented in order to improve patient care. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to plan, assess and develop team and individual performance. Evidences knowledge and experience in the application of continuous quality improvement principles. DESIRABLE: Has demonstrated experience in hospital accreditation processes. Can demonstrate a risk management approach to managing workplace health and safety.
