Job Description

Part Time (20 - 25 hours per week) Immersive Technologies is the global leader in mining equipment simulation and blended learning solutions with more than 30 years of experience elevating human performance in mining. We employ over 300 people globally and have sold to over 50 countries as the largest manufacturer of Mining Simulators in the world. Our products are all designed and manufactured right here in Perth with a large portion of parts made from scratch in-house. Due to an internal promotion were seeking a People Advisor to join our Malaga-based Production Facility to provide full generalist HR expertise to our team of blue- and white-collar employees who design and manufacture our hardware products. Our Production Facility boasts large safe tailored functional layouts for our manufacturing employees and freshly refurbished office facilities for our engineers and supply chain teams with a focussed-but-fun work culture. Our Malaga team are self-driven and experienced in their craft and the purpose of this position is to keep that momentum going. Reporting to the Head of People (based in Osborne Park) youll be a valued member of the globally dispersed People Team. Youll contribute to global projects but predominantly provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to our Head of Hardware Engineering & Manufacturing and his team of leaders. Why You Your credibility in this role will stem from : Authentic approachable and professional demeanour with the ability to engage in straight talk (no HR jargon) to influence good business outcomes for a combined blue- and white-collar workforce. Good understanding of relevant industrial instruments including Fair Work Awards Work Health & Safety Act. Proven exposure to generalist HR such as recruitment onboarding & offboarding performance management employee relations & investigations remuneration employee engagement organisational design learning & development workers compensation & injury management and health & safety. Relevant HR qualification (or equivalent relevant experience) with a mindset of continual learning to stay abreast of legislative changes and HR developments and initiatives. Ability to use HR-tools to extract efficiencies and provide data-backed solutions (e.g. HRIS Excel). Thinking globally and acting locally when supporting broader People Team initiatives and in understanding how the contributions of the Production Facility support our global success.
