Reporting to the Reliability and Maintenance Services Manager, you will be working on continuous improvement projects, day to day site maintenance on fixed plant, fire systems, site buildings, roads and infrastructure, and for preparing and planning for our annual shut down. You will also be responsible for conducting audits, and for improving and maintaining fire systems to meet all legislative, building and insurance requirements. What you''ll do Prepare the weekly work schedule for the Site Maintenance Team Liaise with area managers and operations to ensure access, permits, coordination, and any other work access requirements. Implement program for Site hazard identification and safety improvements. Manage facilities contractors and service providers (arrange quotes, purchase requisitions, etc). Supervision of Major Shut Shutdown (MSD) site set-up and equipment hire. After-hours breakdown support and rectification for Site and facilities equipment. This plant operates on a 24/7-day basis, and you will need to be flexible to work additional hours as required, including being on our call-out roster. What You Will Bring Tertiary qualified in Engineering or Trade background with Maintenance/Engineering experience as a supervisor or Planner Solid prior experience within facilities maintenance and fire systems in an industrial environment. Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, CMMS, SAP or any ERP system. You have a safety-first mindset and comply with OHS&E policies and procedures at all times. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can demonstrate your mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex production issues under pressure.
