About the role Based in Wondai Permanent - Full Time $68K - $76K per annum + Allowances + Super Council is seeking a Team Leader to provide skilled support to Supervisors and operational teams responsible for the delivery of construction and maintenance activities. This role is responsible for leading and managing allocated teams to maximise performance and ensure works are delivered effectively and efficiently. The Team Leader will read and interpret plans and instructions, provide daily progress reports, and assist senior officers in the development and implementation of work programmes. The successful applicant will demonstrate sound working knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques and guidelines, proven leadership capability with the ability to motivate teams and drive high performance, and well-developed literacy, numeracy, and computer skills, along with the ability to effectively establish and manage work priorities. Sound literacy and numeracy skills with the ability to undertake calculations associated with level control and costings, project budgets and associated paperwork. Computer skills with knowledge of the MS Office Suite and Corporate Software Systems (e.g., Technology One). Demonstrated experience in logistics and the efficient and effective allocation of staff and resources, establishing work priorities and meeting deadlines.
