Overview Mallee Sexual Assault Unit-Mallee Domestic Violence Service Mildura VIC We have established a new role in our Finance and Corporate Services Team for Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate professional to join our dedicated notforprofit organisation on a permanent fulltime basis in our Mildura Office. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly Financial Reports Prepare monthly Program level Financial Reports Lead the Finance Team Work closely with organisational budget owners in preparation and monitoring of the annual operational, capital expenditure & revenue budgets to support long term strategic and business goals. Maintain the asset register Assist in the implementation of new Financial and Budgeting systems Assist in the development of Financial Policies and Procedures Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Minimum of Associate Membership of CPA or CA Australia. Proven experience in a Finance Management role, preferably in the not for profit or healthcare sector. In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards and budgeting processes. A strong understanding of the budget setting, monitoring and control processes and ability to communicate with staff from nonfinancial backgrounds. Strong technical skills and experience in collating, analysing and presenting financial reports to nonfinancial audiences. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a culturally safe manner.
