Apprentice Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Fixed Contract) Warren Shire Council is looking for a motivated individual to start a 4year fulltime apprenticeship beginning early 2026. The role offers practical experience, handson training and a solid foundation for a career in the mechanical trade. What Youll Be Doing: Working on a wide range of heavy and light machinery. Helping service, maintain and repair Councils fleet both in the workshop and onsite. Learning from experienced mechanics in a supportive team. Attending accredited training (includes travel). What Youll Need: School Certificate. Class C Drivers Licence (or willing to obtain within 3 months). A cando attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
