Stroud Homes Wide Bay a leader in corporate construction is looking for an In-House Accountant to manage financial operations, support project teams, and ensure the accuracy of our reporting as we continue to grow. What Youll Do Manage general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Oversee project cost tracking, budgets, and profitability reports Support payroll and employee expense processing Ensure compliance with QBCC and construction accounting principles Work closely with Accounts Manager and leadership to provide financial insights Assist with audits and liaise with external accountants and tax professionals What Were Looking For Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 35+ years of accounting experience construction industry experience a plus Strong knowledge of job costing and WIP reporting Proficient in Databuild or similar accounting systems will be advantageous Advanced Excel and analytical skills Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and communication Why Youll Love Working With Us Competitive salary Family Run Business A collaborative, stable, and growing corporate environment What We Offer Ongoing training and professional development.
