We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our farm in Southwest Australia.We are seeking to engage someone with strong experience in property maintenance and management. Located near Donnybrook, Western Australia, around 2.5 hours from Perth, we are a family run business with diverse farming and property business interests. To be sure, this is a diverse role with its foundation based in property management, but also with the ability to assist in many other facets of our small business.We are seeking someone with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, positive attitude, attention to detail, keen organisational ability, team player mentality and a hands on approach.Your primary responsibility is to ensure the seamless operation of maintenance across the properties on the farm. You will collaborate closely with internal staff and external contractors to ensure that both the daily operations and the hosting of guests are executed to the highest standards.The following is an overview of your duties but not limited to:Supervise, maintain and complete schedules for maintenance and relevant staff including employees, contractors, or backpackers.Assist the household managers with maintenance operations and reporting including maintaining detailed records and communication of work, inspections, repairs and reports.Oversee and report on maintenance and building operations of the properties, ensuring all areas are in excellent condition.First point of contact for household managers and contractors for all property repairs and relevant projects.Manage inventories of property maintenance supplies and ensure proper stocking of essentials.Maintain maintenance manuals, procedures, contacts, and schedules.Manage fire and general first aid safety, security and emergency action plans for all properties.Be readily available during family visits to ensure properties are kept in good working order.Assist with property and surrounds heavy lifting and moving items.Identify and implement improvements and upgrades to systems to enhance performance, energy efficiency and safety.Open to courses and training to expand knowledge and skills for evolving role requirements.Qualifications & RequirementsPrevious experience in general maintenance, handyman, property maintenance, or constructionrelated roles.Strong practical skills across multiple trades with the ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs efficiently.Physically capable of performing handson labour and manual tasks.Highly organised with strong timemanagement skills.Able to multitask, prioritise work, and operate independently.Basic IT skills for logging maintenance jobs or records. #J-18808-Ljbffr
