Part Time (Full Time considered for the right person) Outlook Optical is a family-owned independent practice in Bundaberg. Our focus is on delivering the very best patient care and eyewear options to suit each individual patients eyewear needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated person to join a dedicated, small team in a family-owned, independent optometry practice. In our optometry practice you will have the opportunity to work closely with our wonderful customers to build strong relationships and to provide outstanding service. ABOUT THE ROLE Welcome customers into the practice Conduct preliminary testing prior to patients eye examination Assist customers with frame and lens selections Dispense and order spectacles and contact lenses General administrative and reception duties: answer phone calls, make appointments, prepare mail, emailing, manage patient records, prepare banking Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented workspace Contribute to and support a high functioning team BENEFITS OF THE ROLE Ongoing training and study options available No sales targets or KPI Work with beautiful eye wear collections Friendly customers and patients Optical allowance provided for staff Opportunity to learn and grow in the optical field while making a real difference to peoples lives.
