Nurse Level 5 - Remuneration Package Range $160,157 - $166,812 (including salary $136,235 - $143,391Darwin, NTAbout the positionPopulation and Primary Health Care Custodial CareDarwin, Northern TerritoryOne vacancy is available, either ongoing or fixed for 2 years.Take charge of a service that makes a lasting impact in a challenging, rewarding environment.The RoleAs the Nurse Management Coordinator Prison Health you will provide high-level advice and leadership in the assessment, planning, review, evaluation, and coordination of primary health care services within the Darwin Correctional Precinct.Youll lead a multidisciplinary team encompassing Nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, and administrative staff to deliver safe, effective, and culturally responsive care to clients in custody. Working closely with the District Manager Custodial Care Team, youll ensure operational efficiency, foster a positive workplace culture, and model best practice in clinical care.Our ServicesNT Healths Population and Primary Health Care Prison Health Service division delivers comprehensive health care people in custody across Northern Territory correctional facilities. Services include primary health care, chronic disease management, mental health and psychological support, emergency response, and preventive health programs. Specialist services are provided through visiting clinicians and telehealth, ensuring access to high-quality care in a secure environment. Our multidisciplinary team delivers culturally appropriate, evidence-based care that supports rehabilitation and positive health outcomes for people in custody.About youYoure a skilled clinician and strategic thinker who can lead teams and drive service improvements in complex settings.
