Were seeking a proactive and people-focused HR & Compliance Coordinator to join our team. This role blends human resources insight with workplace health and safety leadership, supporting both our drivers and corporate staff. Whether you come from a transport background or bring broader HR experience, your ability to foster a safe, healthy, and engaged workforce is what matters most. Reporting to the Office Manager, youll lead initiatives that promote employee wellness, ensure compliance with safety standards, and build a culture of care and accountability across the business. What Youll Do Championing Employee Wellness: Supporting mental health, physical wellbeing, and early intervention strategies for injury and illness across all teams. Leading Compliance & Risk Management: Ensuring alignment with WHS legislation, NHVR standards, and regulatory frameworks. Youll manage audits, risk registers, and incident investigations. Providing HR-Focused Safety Support: Offering training, coaching, and guidance on workplace health, return-to-work programs, and fitness-for-duty assessments. Collaborating Across Teams: Working with stakeholders to ensure consistent application of safety and wellness policies across business units. Managing Onboarding & Screening: Overseeing pre-employment screening and WHS/NHVR onboarding programs. Driving Reporting & Analytics: Using data to monitor trends, support compliance, and inform strategic decisions. What Youll Bring We welcome candidates from diverse HR or safety backgrounds. You might be a generalist HR professional with a passion for wellbeing, or someone with compliance experience looking to expand into broader people-focused work. Experience in HR, WHS, or employee wellbeing roles (transport industry experience is a bonus, not a requirement). Strong understanding of OH&S legislation and/or NHVR standards or a willingness to learn. Excellent stakeholder engagement and coaching skills. High attention to detail and strong time management.
