Peninsula Grammar School is seeking a dedicated Facilities Team Member (Grounds) to join our property department. This fulltime, permanent position is based in the picturesque Mornington Peninsula. As a key member of our property team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the school''s grounds and ensuring a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment for our students, staff, and visitors. Your daily tasks will include but are not limited to: Undertaking general grounds maintenance activities such as mowing, edging, weeding, and pruning to uphold the appearance of the school grounds Assisting with irrigation system maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal functioning Conducting regular inspections of outdoor facilities and equipment to identify and address any safety hazards or maintenance requirements Supporting with setting up for outdoor events, functions and crossing supervision as required Collaborating with the facilities team to contribute to the overall upkeep of the school''s buildings and grounds Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times to promote a secure working environment The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to grounds maintenance.
