ROSTER:7:7 Day & Night 12hrs (Residentialonly) or 2:1 Day & Night 12hrs (ResidentialorFIFO) PACKAGE:Salary + Performance Bonus + Residential Allowance + Site Allowance + Family Private Health Insurance or Allowance + Death and TPD Coverage or Allowance + Mental Health Programs + Gym Membership Discount + Other Benefits WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As an OP DTO at Norton Gold Fields, you are expected to safely drive large dump trucks to move extracted materials including ore and waste rock from the mining pit to dumping areas. This role emphasizes safety, equipment upkeep, and teamwork for efficient mining operations. Drive dump trucks such as Komatsu 1500 Trucks, CAT 777, 785, 789, Cat 14 & 16M graders and water carts. Conduct pre-starts on equipment prior to operation. Conclude shift with post-shift checks; clean and refuel equipment where appropriate. Interpret, understand and apply survey instructions and plans. Operate equipment to Best Practice standards to minimise damage to equipment. Initiate and participate in equipment handovers with the Open Pit Shift Supervisor and cross-shift operator. Followed and interpreted mine plan instructions to achieve good quality production results in a timely manner. Ensure minimal disruptions to the loading and haulage cycle. ABOUT YOU At least 12 monthsof dump truck experience (100+ tonne capacity)(Essential). The required 12 months of dump truck experience must be specifically in the mining industry. Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class C Drivers Licence(basic?) (Essential). Previous experience in an Open-Pit/Cut mining environment (Desirable). Good understanding of the following machines: Dump Trucks: CAT 777F , 789D , 775F, Komatsu 1500 Trucks (or other similar machinery in dimension) Water Carts: CAT 777/773 Water Carts Graders: CAT 16M/H , 14M/H Graders BENEFITS Permanent full-time role with an immediate start. Excellent remuneration package with additional allowances. Receive a $12k residential allowance per annum, if you are residential and not FIFO.
