Overview We''re looking for a reliable, handson Leading Hand to join our familyrun pineapple farm. If you enjoy outdoor work, take pride in doing things well, and want to be part of a productive farm operation, this role offers longterm stability and variety. What Youll Be Doing: Daytoday farm operations, including taking truckloads of fruit to pack houses, forkliftlifting when harvesting, and assisting with getting the ground ready. Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Coordinating tasks with management and supporting seasonal workers. Assisting with fertilising and weed control. Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised work environment. Required Skills & Licences: Current forklift licence (preferably with experience on uneven or offroad surfaces). If you do not have a forklift licence but hold a truck licence and can demonstrate good skills, a pathway to a forklift licence is available through the business. Current truck licence. MR (Medium Rigid) truck licence required. Ability to work independently. Good communication skills and a strong work ethic. Desirable (but not essential): Frontend loader licence can be obtained at a later date. Previous experience in horticulture, crop management, or machinery maintenance.
