Divalls Earthmoving & Bulk Haulage, owns & operates a fleet of over 40 Kenworth trucks, & over 300 pieces of earthmoving plant & equipment. Our Head Office and Workshop are located at 17090 Hume Highway, on the outskirts of, Goulburn, NSW. We currently have a position vacant in our busy Workshop, for a Quarry Operations Mechanic.As a key member of our high-performance team, you will play an integral role in ensuring our production targets are met by performing maintenance, repair & servicing to our Mobile Crushers & Screening equipment.The successful applicant will be required to work Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays as required. Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following;Maintain and/or repair all Quarry related plant, including:CrushersScreensMulcherExcavators ranging from 20t 125tBulldozersFront End Wheel LoadersRigid Dump Trucks ranging from 60t 100tKnowledge of WHS and legislation requirements.Detect machine malfunction and discuss operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem and/or repair machine.Disassemble/Assemble defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.Coordinate & ensure the prompt repair of faults either during inspection or as reported in the Fault Reporting Book or under direction from the Quarry Maintenance Manager.Notify the Quarry Maintenance Manager/Operators if a machine requires further maintenance or inspection, or if followup work or monitoring is required.Identify upcoming maintenance and thoroughly inspect plant for nonconforming issues.Ability to work productively unsupervised.Occasional working away with a living away allowance paid, 12 nights a month but can vary.Welding and Oxy experience is desirable.MR Class Drivers Licence is desirable, but not essential.It is expected that the successful applicant will have an enthusiastic work ethic and can display a keen interest in the mechanical field. Prior work experience or the like, may be advantageous.Hourly rates for this role are based on Individual Flexibility Agreements and will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
