Two Permanent, Full Time positions available Salary: $56,401 - $63,406 gross p.a. plus 12% Super plus Adverse Working Conditions Level 1 allowance hours per week (Monday to Friday) with a 9 day fortnight Located at Ulladulla Works Depot, Deering Street Ulladulla Applications close Sunday, 18 January 2026 (at midnight) About the Role Shoalhaven City Council is seeking motivated and reliable Skilled Labourers to join our Southern Maintenance team based at the Ulladulla Works Depot. These roles involve handson work in the construction and maintenance of Council assets, contributing to the delivery of quality infrastructure for our community. The Key Responsibilities of these positions includes: Perform manual tasks such as shovelling, screeding, raking, digging, lifting, and traffic control. Operate and maintain small plant and equipment (e.g., chainsaws, plate compactors, concrete saws, vegetation trimmers). Assist with minor construction and maintenance of roads, drainage, footpaths, recreational facilities, and other Council assets. Complete standard paperwork including timesheets and safety checklists. Work collaboratively in a team environment and respond to operational needs, including emergency callbacks. Being available to be oncall and complete reasonable overtime is a requirement of this position. About You School Certificate or equivalent. Minimum 12 months'' experience in civil construction and/or maintenance activities. Current NSW Class C Driver''s Licence. Current NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card). Proof of Australian residency or citizenship. We are looking for dependable team players who take pride in delivering quality workmanship and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety. The ideal candidates will have a solid work ethic, adaptability, initiative, and a positive attitude, with the ability to work effectively under routine supervision in a variety of outdoor environments. Possession of an MR licence and certificates or licences relevant to civil construction are not essential although will be highly regarded.
