Were proud to partner with Ballarat City Council to deliver positive environmental and social outcomes through the Ballarat Recycling Facility. The Role Were seeking two part-time Recycling Attendants to join our team at the Ballarat Recycling Facility. As a Recycling Attendant, youll work closely with customers to guide them on safe and effective recycling practices, salvage materials for reuse, and contribute to our mission of reducing waste while promoting sustainability. What Youll Do Greet and assist customers with recycling and disposal practices. Identify and sort recyclable materials such as metals, wood, cardboard, and household goods. Help move materials across the facility in both indoor and outdoor environments. Support our Reuse Shop, giving second life to items like clothing, building materials, and garden supplies. Key Skills & Attributes Great customer service and a friendly, approachable attitude. Reliability and punctuality to support a busy team. A commitment to workplace safety and following protocols.
