Job Overview We are looking for a butcher or customer service person in Shepparton, with some work also in Echuca when required. Must be available every second Saturday. Award wages customer service position is $24.28p/h, butcher rate dependent on experience. Responsibilities Work independently and take responsibility for orders and products Make products in a timely & food-safe manner, ensure all recipes are followed, all ingredients are fresh and all end products are dated and stored correctly Break down beef, chicken, pork & lamb Rotate stock where required, check use-by dates and reduce prices 3 days before expiry Remove any items from the window that will not last another 3 days and sell at a reduced price if possible Assist with ordering of stock and reducing waste Keep the shop clean and presentable and maintain safety to the highest standard (eg food safety diary) Cleaning is an essential part of running a butchery and is in everyones job description Take responsibility to make sure all customers needs are met to the best of Family Butchers abilities and in a polite and professional manner Working Hours 8-6 Mon to Fri 8-2 Saturdays Block out periods apply in busy periods for leave #J-18808-Ljbffr
