About the role Our clinic is a dynamic and forwardthinking healthcare provider located in Bundaberg, Queensland, seeking a highly skilled and customerfocused Medical Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis. As a Medical Receptionist, you will provide exceptional administrative support and patient service to ensure the smooth operation of our busy practice. What youll be doing Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner. Efficiently managing patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling and cancellations. Handling patient enquiries and providing accurate information about our services. Maintaining accurate and uptodate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with medical regulations. Assisting with the coordination of medical procedures and referrals. Performing general administrative duties, such as answering and directing telephone calls, processing payments, and managing medical supplies. Providing a seamless and positive patient experience from start to finish. What were looking for Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customerservice role within the healthcare industry. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians, and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure. Proficient in using medical practice management software and other relevant computer applications. Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate and uptodate patient records. A genuine passion for healthcare and a desire to contribute to the wellbeing of our patients.
