Nambour Selangor Private Hospital Nambour QLDWe are seeking dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Assistants to join our casual pool at Nambour Selangor Private Hospital. In this role, you will provide essential support across a range of hospital departments, working closely with clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred care.You will contribute to patient comfort, safety, and dignity while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the hospital. This casual role requires flexibility to work across all wards and assist with a variety of patient care and support activities.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport clinical and non-clinical staff in the delivery of safe and effective patient care.Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and transport throughout the hospital, including to and from diagnostic areas such as radiology.Perform ward bed moves and provide general patient handling assistance using approved equipment and techniques.Assist patients on admission and help them settle comfortably into the ward environment.Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in patient rooms and shared areas in accordance with infection control standards.Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support positive patient outcomes.About YouYou are compassionate, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.To Be Successful, You Will HaveOne of the following qualifications:Certificate III in Health Services Assistance, Care Support Services, or Aged CareCertificate IV in Health Services AssistanceUndergraduate Nursing Student (Year 2 or 3)Minimum of one years clinical experience in an acute hospital setting.Sound knowledge of infection control, manual handling, and workplace safety procedures.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.Whats in it for you?Professional Advancement: Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
