We are seeking a casual Baling equipment Operator for our upcoming Baling season across various farms within Queensland to support our Manufacturing Operations based in Childers Queensland.Oreco Group is an Australian Owned organisation which produces and supplies horticultural and agriculture products throughout Australia.Our In-field baling team is an external facing role within our organisation working with various farmers and producers to bale up farming by-products and feed grasses. With our team needing to work as far as North Queensland this exciting opportunity will see the successful person travel with their new role.The Role entails:Repairing breakdowns in the field should equipment have problemsSetting up equipment for the operation of each shiftPre-start and operation of machinery and the understanding of adjustments as needed to improve infield performanceTroubleshooting issues and perform maintenance as neededOperate machinery and equipment according to instruction, manual and trainingPerform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping proceduresComply with all safety and health regulationsClean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work areaWhat we are looking for:Mechanically minded and proven experience repairing farm equipmentAbility to troubleshoot and perform infield fixes should equipment faults ariseAble to operate a tractor with various implementsExperience with driving across various terrain and baling cane and grassesExperience operating square balers is advantageous however training will be providedMust have a valid drivers license with proof of driving record providedAbility to perform mathematical calculationsCapable of working outdoors and in various weather conditionsManual labor which involves heavy liftingMust be willing to travel across QueenslandHow to apply:If this opportunity excites you sounds like your ideal role, please click apply now and include your cover letter and resume.
