Director - Financial Efficiencies, Queensland Treasury The Financial Efficiencies team is newly established to provide analysis and advice on expenditure, financial performance, and value for money in achieving policy objectives across the Queensland Government. The team is tasked with oversight and reporting of existing savings and efficiency measures, as well as identification of new opportunities and development of related policy. You will support the Executive Director and the broader Treasury executive team in development and oversight of strategies to achieve efficiencies in expenditure and operations across the Queensland Government, and partner with internal and external clients and stakeholders to identify and resolve complex financial and operational matters relating to the efficiency of government service delivery. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate: The ability to lead teams under pressure while maintaining team cohesion and delivering results. Experience in analysing and interpreting financial and non-financial performance information and data and/or in developing government policy. The ability to provide expert advice that is strategic, practical and solutions-oriented. Influential written and spoken communication skills that are tailored to the audience. Highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills that encourage information sharing and collaboration.
