The position is suitable for a Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physicist with ACPSEM registration in either Radiology or Nuclear Medicine. This role may be suitable for near graduate of TEAP, preparing for final examination. The successful applicant may be required to take part in some after hours or on-call work, from time to time. The applicant must be able to independently access and transport medical physics equipment between Western Health campuses over a wide area of Melbourne metropolitan western region. Key Responsibilities: Maintain best practice standards for quality assurance programs in all medical imaging modalities including fluoroscopy, general radiography, mammography, CT, Nuclear Medicine & PET Perform annual testing as required for the Victorian Department of Health licensing conditions Maintain radiation safety monitoring and standards as part of medical physics team Provide education in radiation safety, physics, image processing, and statistics Supervise junior medical physicists as required.
