Then this could be the role for you! About the Role We''re looking for an experienced Head of IT / Systems Manager, ideally with a background in an SME/owneroperated environment or business. At this stage you will have no direct reports, however growth is a key part of the business objectives. The role will see you work directly with the business owners on a daily basis, joining the wider shared services team and working across a range of initiatives while taking the lead on IT operational requirements on a daily basis. The role is a new role for the business so it needs someone who can proactively partner and work with the owners and existing management team to improve and build on existing IT processes, have the hunger and ambition to embrace new technology and execute a clear growth strategy without causing disruption to existing operations. The role will require you to build strong internal relationships with multiple stakeholders to support the overarching delivery of the IT strategy and daytoday IT support required across the business. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain all IT systems, networks, and infrastructure (onpremises and cloudbased). Provide daytoday IT support to staff, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues. Oversee ERP systems, databases, and software applications used across production, sales, and admin with the aim of driving efficiency initiatives through standardisation. Propose new systems that could improve the businesss tech stack and operational efficiencies. Ensure cybersecurity policies, backups, and disaster recovery plans are in place and up to date. Partner with external vendors for hardware, software, and managed service requirements. Lead IT projects to support business improvements, system upgrades, and automation opportunities. Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity through technology. What Youll Need Ideally 2 to 3 years in a similar position previously that would allow you to bring and implement tried and tested processes. Previous IT Management / Leadership experience and a desire to continue in this type of role, working directly with the business owners/leaders. Ability to demonstrate building out policies and procedures, specifically in Cyber Security and other areas of the business IT relevant. Ability and desire to be "HANDSON" this role will involve providing desktop support to the business, as well as supporting with the broader IT strategies. Why Join?
