Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager Engineering Services will provide leadership across multiple engineering disciplines and play a central role in achieving Advitechs strategic growth goals. This is a key executive appointment for a commercially minded engineering leader who thrives on building strong client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and elevating technical excellence across teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic direction and leadership to all engineering disciplines.Drive business growth by proactively identifying and securing new work and client relationships.Lead operational and commercial performance, including revenue, margin, resourcing, and project delivery.Mentor and develop discipline leads and senior engineers, fostering a highperformance culture.Oversee governance, risk, quality, and compliance across engineering functions.Support business development, quality, performance and staff development strategies.Represent Advitech at industry forums, events, and strategic partnerships.QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will meet the following:Degree in engineering with extensive (10+ years) experience in consulting or complex technical environments.Proven capability in developing new business, building client relationships, and expanding market presence.Strong financial, operational, and project management acumen.Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.Chartered or Registered Engineer status (highly regarded).Current unrestricted drivers licence (motor vehicle).About the PositionPosition Type: Permanent - Full TimeReports To: CEOStart Date: flexibleLocation: Advitech office, located in the Emergent Group Headquarters, Newcastle.Salary: base salary plus superannuation and generous income protection insurance, wellbeing vouchers, employee referral program bonus, overtime options, professional membership training, and more.The wellbeing of our people is our highest priority.
