In this pivotal role youll provide clinical leadership across a dynamic interdisciplinary team, deliver highimpact care to young people aged 1217, shape treatment pathways, empower families and care networks, and contribute to key decisions that influence the future of youth mental health. Your expertise will also guide the next generation of clinicians through registrar supervision and medical student education. Youll also join a districtwide consultant afterhours roster, with scope to contribute across other areas of the mental health service, tailored to your interests and negotiated with the Medical Director. Responsibilities Deliver highimpact care to young people aged 1217 within a traumainformed, culturally safe environment. Provide clinical leadership across a skilled interdisciplinary team, including lived experience and Aboriginal health professionals. Shape treatment pathways and support familyinclusive care models. Guide registrar supervision and medical student education. Participate in a districtwide consultant afterhours roster. Qualifications Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent specialist recognition. Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia via the Specialist Pathway (Substantially Comparable) or Expedited Specialist Pathway.
