To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:3 5 years experience in Work Health and Safety (WHS) or an operational role where WHS was a core focus(for example working within an operations team)Exposure to high-risk industries (e.g., mining, construction, energy) is a plus for understanding complex safety systemsand business processes.Understanding of the Hunter economy and commitment to the local community is highly desirable.Recent experience in an audit or risk associated role, with a strong understanding of governance,riskand controls, as well as risk frameworks and continuous improvement methodologies.Ability to assess and report on WHS/HSEC compliance against regulatory and organisational standards.QualificationsExperience in operational or safety-focussed roles.A supporting vocational and/or tertiary qualification is highlyadvantageous, but not essential.
