You''ll provide expert advice, lead a defined portfolio and manage communication end to end across multiple channels. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you''ll create clear, engaging and audience-focused content aligned with organisational voice, values and brand, including communication that supports organisational change, staff engagement and strategic narrative.In this role, you will:Develop and deliver strategic communication plans that support organisational priorities and initiatives.Translate complex information into clear, accessible and audience-focused communication.Produce high-quality content across internal and external channels, including digital, email, intranet, reports and presentations.Act as a trusted communication advisor, building strong relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts.Lead change communication that helps staff understand, navigate and engage with organisational systems change.Manage communication plans end-to-end, from brief and planning through to delivery, optimisation and evaluation.Support integrated, multi-channel communication and campaign delivery.Monitor performance and audience insights to improve communication effectiveness.Contribute to continuous improvement, governance and a collaborative, high-performing communications team.Ensure all communication aligns with organisational values, brand and tone of voice.Provide oversight of the intranet as a core internal communication channel, driving adoption, quality content and effective governance.Deliver internal campaigns and events and create compelling stories that bring organisational values and achievements to life.About You:You''ll thrive in this position if you enjoy translating complexity into clear, engaging communication, confidently advise and influence stakeholders, and take ownership of delivering high-quality, audience-focused communication in a dynamic, change-driven environment.To succeed in this role, you will bring:Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 8 to 10+ years.Demonstrated experience developing and delivering communication across multiple channels.Experience providing communication advice to stakeholders at various organisational levels.Proven ability to create high-quality written content and messaging frameworks.Experience identifying communication risks or issues and developing mitigation or response strategies.Experience working in a fast,-stakeholder environment.Strong writing, editing and storytelling capability across formats and audiences.Ability to simplify technical or complex concepts for clear, audience-focused communication.Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.Understanding of brand, tone of voice and communication governance.Strong planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to balance proactive, planned work with reactive demands.Experience in the aged care, health, social services or membership-based sector.Experience unpacking complex ideas, technical information or policy concepts and translating them into clear, engaging communication for diverse audiences.Experience contributing to communication for organisational change, major initiatives, events or recognition programs.Understanding of public-facing communication within regulated, sensitive or reform-intensive sectors.Experience supporting organisational change communication.Familiarity with analytics tools and engagement metrics to evaluate communication performance.At Ageing Australia, we foster a culture of care, growth and collaboration.
