With a long-serving Principal transitioning into semi-retirement, this is the chance to become the technical anchor of a high-performing Hazmat group and set the standard for delivery across Victoria. You won''t be buried in management here. Day-to-day operations and people leadership are already handled. What the team needs is someone who loves the technical side - the tricky questions, the complex building issues, the audits that need an expert eye - and who wants to be the steady set of hands clients can rely on.ResponsibilitiesLead technical delivery across hazardous materials assessmentsDivision 5 & Division 6 audits, asbestos management and complianceMould assessments and oversight of the growing mould services streamClearances, air monitoring and general occupational hygiene workProvide expert-level review, troubleshooting and technical guidanceSupport workload management and project delivery alongside the existing senior teamWork closely with juniors and seniors as they continue developing capabilityLeverage an in-house laboratory in Melbourne for efficient turnaround timesQualificationsStrong hazardous materials background (D5 / D6 essential)Experience across asbestos, mould, clearances and building-related Hazmat workComfortable being the technical go-to for a teamAbility to manage workload and support project deliveryStrong written reporting and technical review skillsContactDirector & Founder of ALRA 18+ years in Environmental Recruitment#J-18808-Ljbffr
